2021. The Year of Chasing Our Dreams.
2020 was a shambles, let’s be honest and personal, it tested me in ways I never knew I could be tested. It was one of the worst years in my life but somehow we got through it. 2021 is now The Year of Dreams.
I don’t think anyone experienced a NYE like we all did, drinking over Skype and Facebook to celebrate a new year. I never thought we would be back in square 1 a year later with this pandemic.
But alas, a New Year begins and although it is looking a lot like 2020, we a little more prepared this time. 2021 is well underway and well to me, it still feels like it’s 2020 but this year, my goals are very different and very much bigger.

COVID not only made me re-think my entire life but it also made me re-think what I wanted to within my career. I haven’t posted here since August last year and although this is a slight comeback, I’m still grateful for the time I took away as it made me see what I wanted to do. I will be cutting down my blog posts to 2 a week and one video (if possible) a week.
Now I live with my dad and I’m very grateful for him taking me in when I decided to leave Derby. I am now looking at moving out and starting to save to move into another place and that is one of my 2021 goals for the first 6 months. To move out of my dad’s place and begin a new chapter. Life is very weird at the moment, with lockdown happening and the vaccine coming out for the Virus. There is light at the end of the tunnel, a year later.
Speaking of life going back to normal, I don’t think it will immediately. It will be a while to get back to the place we were before the pandemic began but it will be a start. If this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that life is short so do what you want to do to be happy.
I have pledged to myself to get back on track this year, whether that is to start posting again or to follow my dreams. Both of which, I want to take a step towards in 2021. I promised myself the same last year but then again, 2020 was one of the worst years in my life so it can only go up from here.
What are your 2020 goals?
